Hello fellow dog lovers!

We’re Mark and Deb Harstick, proud owners of Fisher Creek Kennels and lifelong enthusiasts of the incredible German Shorthaired Pointer. Our journey with this amazing breed began back in 1994 when Deb surprised me with our very first GSP, Sherman, as a Christmas gift. Sherman was more than just a hunting partner—he became a beloved member of our family and the spark that ignited our passion for raising and training these remarkable dogs.

Over the years, we’ve carefully built our breeding program with a focus on producing healthy, well-socialized pups with outstanding hunting instincts and affectionate temperaments. Many of our dogs, past and present, have earned titles in hunting competitions, proving their skill in the field while also being wonderful companions at home.

Our current dogs—Griffey, Mindy, and Hannah—are not only accomplished hunters, but also deeply loved members of our family. They spend their hunting seasons in the field with me, and the rest of the year enjoying life on our acreage, soaking up attention from our children, grandchildren, and visitors.

At Fisher Creek Kennels, our goal is simple: to share the joy, loyalty, and skill of the German Shorthaired Pointer with others. Whether you’re looking for a dedicated hunting partner or a loving family dog, our pups are raised with care, attention, and a whole lot of love.
